Sul commercio estero, il made in Italy continua a crescere
È record storico per il Made in Italy agroalimentare all'estero, con una crescita media dell'8% spinta soprattutto dal nord ovest (+13,1%) e dal nord est (+7,4%), ma crescono anche il centro Italia nonostante il terremoto (+4,2%) e il mezzogiorno e isole (+1.7%). È quanto emerge da una analisi della Coldiretti sui dati Istat relativi a commercio estero regionale nel primo trimestre del 2017.
Quasi i due terzi delle esportazioni nel 2017 - sottolinea la Coldiretti - interessano i Paesi dell'Unione Europea con il mercato comunitario che aumenta del 5,9%, ma il Made in Italy a tavola continua a crescere su tutti i principali mercati, dal Nordamerica all'Asia fino all'Oceania. Un balzo del 45% si registra in Russia dove tuttavia i valori restano contenuti a causa dell'embargo che ha colpito gran parte dei prodotti alimentari, ma gli Stati Uniti con una crescita del 6,8% - sottolinea la Coldiretti - sono di gran lunga il principale mercato fuori dai confini dall'Unione, ed il terzo in termini generali dopo Germania e Francia e prima della Gran Bretagna.
Sul successo del Made in Italy agroalimentare all'estero - continua la Coldiretti - pesano dunque in misura rilevante i cambiamenti in atto nella politica internazionale che potrebbero tradursi in misure neoprotezionistiche. Si attendono gli effetti degli annunci del presidente degli Stati Uniti, Donald Trump, che sta per scegliere i prodotti dell'Unione Europea da colpire come risposta alla controversia generata dalla questione della mancata importazione di carne dagli USA in Europa per la disputa sugli ormoni iniziata con il ricorso al Wto nel 1996.
